Linda joined the Board in February 2024. She was born in Scotland to a Ukrainian father and Scottish mother. Prior to retirement she was a Qualifications Development Manager for Scottish Qualifications Agency specialising in Business Studies and before that a Principal Teacher in an Edinburgh secondary school. Linda has been very active as a volunteer for the Association of Ukrainians in GB (AUGB), Edinburgh Branch for many years. She is a member of the AUGB Board of Directors and was a previous Chair of the AUGB Edinburgh Branch and is now the Branch treasurer.

She knows the importance and the positive impact of the work Feniks does in supporting Eastern European communities in and around the Edinburgh area and wants to support Feniks in continuing and growing this important service. Her work as a volunteer at AUGB Edinburgh aligns very closely with the values and aims of Feniks.
