Urszula Ratajczak

I am a psychotherapist in the field of Transcultural Positive Psychotherapy. I specialize in individual psychotherapy for adults on the autism spectrum. In therapy, I focus on human needs and emotions, body awareness, competences and relationships.

I work with people who are depressed, after traumas, anxious and after a loss. The area of my professional interests is relationship and attachment, self-development, stress, psychosomatics.

I am a member of BACP and WAPP (World Association for Positive and Transcultural Psychotherapy).

I am also a family mediator, neuro logopedist and special educator. I am gaining professional experience in Poland and Scotland by cooperating with organizations and public institutions in the field of mental health. I conduct training and workshops in the field of human development in the autism spectrum. I am the author of articles for the magazine Charaktery (Speech with a defect, Divorced children, Love heals autism).

My motto in life is: “If you want to have something that you have never had before, you must do something that you have never done before” (Nossrat Peseschkian). I like silence that brings me closer to myself and to other people. I find it close to nature. I love to dance – and everything related to body movement, dance is my passion. The second passion is stories from various cultures. I find signs for life in them.
