Our emotions can sometimes feel overwhelming and too difficult to face alone. I offer a confidential space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings, that may be difficult to share with the people close to you.
Our life history and emotions are kept in the body, so attending to the body therapeutically can be transformative. The approach I have been trained in – Dance Movement Psychotherapy – focuses on the relationship with ourselves and others from the perspective of body and movement.
I work with every person individually, according to their specific needs.
I offer my knowledge, experience and gentle presence to allow exploration of the inner world. This may be through words, body movements, creative arts, relaxation or breathing techniques.
I have over eight years of experience working therapeutically with people on their inner journey. Since 2014 I have worked for FENIKS, Edinburgh and at the start of 2022 I started a private practice in Crieff, Perthshire.
I work with people who face issues such as low self-esteem, addiction, trauma, and past abuse. I also have some specialty in working with migrants and the challenges being away from one’s motherland brings.
Ever since I can remember, I have valued meaningful conversations and
I am delighted to practice this in my professional life.
