The war in Ukraine has had a direct and detrimental impact on the Ukrainian and Central-Eastern European people in Scotland. It has caused direct trauma and distress to those with families in Ukraine as well as triggered an inter-generational trauma within the CEE community. Ukrainian families who have experienced war atrocities first-hand are already arriving in Scotland.
Help us develop the best-suited trauma recovery response to this crisis in Feniks.
Your £5 may contribute to covering the cost of a therapy session (£55/session) or the full cost of delivering a group support session (£53 per hour including room rental, a hot drink and the support of a qualified therapist).
Feniks is the only charity in Scotland able to quickly respond to the mental health needs of those affected by the war in Ukraine living in Scotland. We have 15 years of experience in providing culturally sensitive psychotherapy and social isolation prevention projects to the Polish and Central-Eastern European communities. Our mental health service is accredited by COSCA.
